Optimum is partnering with a hospital in Miami, Florida, with an opening for a Head & Neck Pathologist to become a part of their team.


Work alongside a leading team and make a positive difference in patients' lives. During your time off, explore Miami's vibrant neighborhoods.


Opening Overview:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • Call: 1 weekend day every 6 weeks, 1 weeknight every 3 weeks
  • Annual Volume: 2,800+ cases
  • Routine and complex cases of the oral cavity, larynx, oropharynx, sinonasal tract, salivary gland, and thyroid
  • Duties: Morphologic interpretation of tissue biopsies, immunohistochemical evaluations, molecular assays for HPV and EBV, FISH for detection of genetic alterations, molecular analysis of thyroid tumors, consultation/second opinion on complex cases
  • Academic position
  • Will work with residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Current Team: 4 Head & Neck Pathologists
  • Preferred Experience: 2+ years
  • Must be board-certified
