Job description

Role Description :The Technical Product Analyst translates product intent into implementable engineering work. This person decomposes user stories into concrete system behaviors, maps integrations and data flows, and defines technical acceptance criteria — preventing under-scoped or non-implementable stories from reaching development and reducing downstream rework.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical analysis and analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support product decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with technical support and troubleshooting in a product or managed services environment.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, cloud services, or digital transformation solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, reporting platforms, or product analytics systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams on-site.

Preferred Experience

Priority is given to candidates who have demonstrated experience working closely with engineering, architecture, operations, and QA teams in an agile product delivery environment. Hands-on experience in the following areas is particularly valuable:

Payments Platforms & Domain

• Payment processing platforms such as Finastra, FIS, or Volante.

• APIs, wire transfers, and real-time payments (RTP).

• Deep technical and analyst experience within the B2B payments domain, including Wire / RTP.

Fraud, Compliance & Risk

• Fraud detection — Actimize / Xceed.

• OFAC screening — Fircosoft.

• AML / BSA regulatory frameworks.

• Regulatory and risk considerations embedded in product design.

Non-Functional & Engineering Practices

• Resiliency and observability.

• Performance and load-testing collaboration with SQA.

• Agile delivery, DoR / DoD discipline, and sprint planning.

These roles are critical to advancing several strategic payments initiatives currently underway. Candidates should demonstrate both technical depth and strong product-analysis judgment in a regulated payments environment.
