Job Description
Our team in Quantico, Virginia is seeking a Watch Officer (Mid) to join our team.
This position is located on-site in Quantico. No remote or hybrid opportunities are available.
An active Secret Clearance is required.
Job Description:
  • Monitor the operational status of MCEN services and systems
  • Receive and track network outages, incidents and significant events
  • Maintain situational awareness for the operations center/watch floor
  • Coordinate with network operations, cybersecurity, service desk, field teams and stakeholders
  • Escalate significant incidents to the technical teams and leadership
  • Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation
  • Prepare shift turnover reports, daily operational summaries and incident reports
  • Participate in incident bridges or conference calls during major outages
  • Monitor trouble tickets

Job Requirements:
  • 7 years' experience working in similar environments
  • Experience in a NOC, SOC, help desk, command center, or DoD watch environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Education and Certification Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Security+ Certification
