EXPECTED PAY: ~$20-$25/HR INCLUSIVE OF TIPS. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY.


ROOTS OCEAN PRIME, located in the Princeton Area, is part of Harvest Restaurants (NJs premier restaurant group). This high volume restaurant is dedicated to traditional steakhouse fare focusing on high quality seafood and using local ingredients!



The Host greets all guests with genuine enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival, informs guests of their wait time, enters guest names into the Resy system, show guests to their table and bids guests farewell as they leave. Additionally, the Host cares for our guests by taking the drink order, refilling beverages and sometimes performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass and menus. The host also ensures restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly. Hosts are our first and last impression to the guests and a vital part of the dining experience

Requirements

Previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not mandatory.


Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive. Happy and Nice!


Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.


Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.


Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time , 6-8 hours per shift


Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work effectively within a team.


Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.


Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
