Our mission is to transform the way goods move through the world by designing and building autonomous systems that enhance warehouse intelligence, optimize supply chains, and ensure workplace safety. We believe in the power of innovation and collaboration, and our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in robotics.

As a Business Development Representative at Slip Robotics, you're the first point of contact for the world's largest shippers and 3PLs - opening doors, qualifying opportunities, and building the pipeline that fuels our growth. You'll work at the intersection of robotics and logistics, selling a solution that measurably changes how freight moves through a dock.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and social media to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet criteria before passing to sales team.
  • Nurture leads through regular follow-up, personalized messaging, and thoughtful engagement to move them through the pipeline.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and insights on prospect behavior to refine outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and improve conversion rates across outbound and inbound efforts.
  • Track and manage lead progression, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting on lead status and pipeline health.
  • Ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to the sales team, and assist the sales team to pursue opportunities.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships through phone, email, and social platforms.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and qualification targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across marketing and sales teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven attitude with a desire to contribute to business growth.
  • Experience in the logistics, robotics, or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity in an early-stage robotics company
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
  • Permissive time off policy
  • A small team where your work has direct, visible impact on shipped products
