Job description

Position Description: As the RPA Developer you'll work cross-functionally with our team of developers, data scientists, analysts, strategists, and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and automate business intelligence solutions such as dashboards, analysis, reports, tables, graphs, data exports, and presentations. These tools help empower our client and their leadership to obtain reliable data, and to enhance efficiencies by designing and implementing automated solutions. The objective is to enable our client to effectively deliver goods and services that meet the needs of the customer, while ensuring stewardship of taxpayer dollars. This includes overseeing and implementing business enterprise initiatives; formulating and overseeing complex, organizational wide policies and strategies supporting the procurement of major programs; and providing innovative policy, guidance, and oversight. This position is located in Chantilly. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Develop and maintain RPA and intelligent automations utilizing UiPath, Python, SQL, and other tools as needed . Manage the lifecycle of automation efforts from workflow creation to design, development, test, deployment and maintenance of bots and automation scripts . Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to prioritize use cases, define parameters, and determine levels of human intervention required for each solution . Conduct collaboration sessions and develop corresponding technical documentation . Communicate with other developers and stakeholders to perform technical design reviews, resolve incidents in production, evaluate change requests, and provide status reporting on development . Troubleshoot issues as they arise, documenting and implementing solutions . Maintain knowledge bases and repositories for functional team and stakeholders Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college . Active TS/SCI with Poly . 4+ years of relevant professional experience . Proficient in RPA tools such as IBM RPA, UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere . Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET . 2+ years in Consulting, IT Operations, or Defense industries Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: . Experience with BI/Analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense . 2+ years in Consulting, IT Operations, or Defense industries . Experience with development of business processes and corresponding documentation . Excellent oral and written communication skills . Ability to generate quality deliverables and meet deadlines with little oversight .
