These roles can be volunteer-based or paid positions in schools, nonprofit organizations, or STEM-focused companies. Responsibilities may include teaching engineering concepts, overseeing project management, ensuring safety, and fostering teamwork. Many professionals in this field have backgrounds in robotics, engineering, or computer science.

What does a typical week look like for a FIRST Robotics mentor or coach?

A typical week for a FIRST Robotics mentor or coach involves leading students through project planning, design brainstorming, prototype building, and programming sessions, often during after-school hours or weekends. Mentors coordinate with other team members, provide technical assistance, and help manage deadlines for submissions and competition preparations. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and local industry sponsors is also common, especially when organizing events or fundraising activities. Job description

CRM Specialist (Mid-Level)

Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario (on-site) Type: Full-time, permanent Reports to: VP of Business Platforms

About the Role

We are hiring a mid-level CRM Specialist to design and build Zoho solutions for our clients. This is a project-focused, client-facing role: most of your time will be spent implementing new Zoho solutions, leading migrations, and building custom development and RPA automations that solve real business problems.

Alongside that project work, you will also act as an advanced support escalation point for the solutions you and the team have delivered — handling the complex tickets that go beyond front-line support and require deep knowledge of how each client's environment was built.

You will work directly with clients to translate business requirements into stable, well-documented Zoho solutions, and stand behind them after go-live. If you enjoy owning work end-to-end — from discovery through deployment, support, and continuous improvement — this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Project & Solution Delivery (primary focus)

  • Design and build Zoho solutions for clients across the suite — with particular focus on Zoho CRM, Zoho Finance Suite (Books, Invoice, Billing, Expense), and Zoho Inventory, along with Creator, Desk, Analytics, Flow, Catalyst, and related modules — based on business requirements.
  • Plan and execute migrations to Zoho from other CRM and business platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Pipedrive, Monday, legacy databases), including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and cutover.
  • Build custom development on top of Zoho: Deluge scripting, custom functions, widgets, API integrations, and Catalyst-based extensions.
  • Design and deploy RPA workflows to automate repetitive processes that sit alongside Zoho (e.g. data entry, reconciliation, cross-system syncs, document processing).
  • Author and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams for every solution you deliver.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities where Zoho or RPA can drive measurable efficiency gains.

Advanced Support (secondary focus)

  • Act as an advanced support escalation point for the Zoho solutions you and the team have delivered to clients — handling complex tickets that exceed front-line support, with escalation to the VP of Business Platforms when needed.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and document root causes for production issues across client environments.

What You Bring

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, customizing, and supporting Zoho products in production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Zoho Finance Suite (Books, Invoice, Billing, Expense, Inventory) and Zoho Inventory, including configuration, workflows, and integrations with CRM and other modules.
  • Experience contributing to at least one Zoho migration project from another CRM or business platform.
  • Solid Deluge scripting skills and working experience with Zoho APIs, webhooks, and custom functions.
  • General software development experience — proficiency in at least one of JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#; comfortable with REST APIs, JSON, and version control (Git).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one RPA platform (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Make, n8n, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of data models, ETL processes, and integrations across multiple systems.
  • Fluent written and spoken English — this is a strict requirement, as the role involves direct stakeholder communication, technical documentation, and escalation handling.
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week in Stoney Creek throughout the probationary period. A hybrid arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis after successful completion of probation.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Zoho certifications (Zoho CRM Developer, Zoho Creator, Zoho One).
  • Experience with Zoho Catalyst, Zoho Analytics advanced reporting, or Zia AI features.
  • Familiarity with adjacent tools: Zapier, Workato, or other iPaaS platforms.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-services environment.
  • Exposure to solution architecture or technical pre-sales.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

  • You have delivered or meaningfully contributed to multiple client Zoho projects (implementations, migrations, or custom builds).
  • Clients trust you as the go-to expert for the solutions you've shipped.
  • Advanced support tickets on your solutions are being resolved cleanly without bouncing upstream.
  • At least one RPA-driven automation you built is live and saving measurable hours.
  • Documentation and runbooks for the solutions you deliver are consistently strong.

Work Arrangement

  • On-site 5 days per week at our Stoney Creek office during the probationary period (mandatory).
  • Hybrid arrangements may be discussed on a case-by-case basis after probation, based on performance and business needs.

How to Apply

Submit your resume along with a brief note describing your most challenging Zoho implementation or migration. Candidates who include specific examples of Deluge or RPA work they have built will be prioritized.
