Intuitive Machines is seeking an in Intern to join our team in Greenbelt, MD.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a rising senior (entering final year) in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Software, or related discipline)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for NASA contractor site access)
  • Must be available to work on-site in Greenbelt, Maryland for the duration of the internship
Technical Skills
  • Experience with programming (MATLAB preferred; Simulink/Simscape is a bonus)
  • Experience with experimental data collection and analysis
  • Understanding of robotics/kinematics
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision

Roles & Responsibilities
    • Creating robot simulations for contact tasks based on mathematical modeling
    • Designing experiments and analyze data to validate/improve robot simulations
    • Developing methodologies for quick-turn-around robot controller tuning
