Job description

EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more.
We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.
We're looking for a Senior/Staff/Principal Product Manager to build the future of how law firms acquire new clients, shaping our emerging leads product from the ground up. You'll own the first mile of the personal injury journey, looking after the experience for people during the worst day of their lives.
You will define and lead the buildout of the product experience that ensures people who are injured are connected with the best lawyers, to ultimately get the justice that they deserve.
You'll be on the Case Lifecycle product team, reporting to the Head of Case Lifecycle, JJ Miclat. Our group conceives, builds, architects, launches, and grows EvenUp's suite of applications for law firms that tackles the personal injury case experience end-to-end from leads (the new plaintiff intake experience), to matters (cases), all the way to proceedings (litigation), and settlement/disbursement. You'll be focused on leading and crafting 0-1 experiences around our very nascent (albeit burgeoning) leads product that helps law firms intake, qualify, and acquire new plaintiffs, with quality and at scale. This product serves as the initial catalyst between the dynamic partnership between plaintiffs and law firms. The ideal candidate knows how to take complex user problems and transform them into elegant, AI-powered workflows that people actually use.
This is a role for someone who has shipped B2B SaaS products end-to-end, operates as a systems thinker, is obsessed with customer workflows, and successfully launched LLM/LMM based products that are well loved by the market. You'll own the product experience for the very top-of-funnel for the personal injury law firms that we work with, working closely with engineering, design, data science, product marketing, and product operations to ensure that those that are injured are connected with the best lawyers, to ultimately get the justice that they deserve.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco or Toronto offices, with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in office.
What you'll do:
  • Own the full product lifecycle for the leads/intake experience for law firms, from discovery and definition through launch and iteration.
  • Conceptualize, build, ship, and optimize products around lead qualification, outbound marketing for firms, agents for inbound lead qualification and intake, and bi-directional referral workflows.
  • Deeply understand how legal teams work, identifying friction points and translating them into product decisions that drive meaningful workflow improvements.
  • Partner with engineering and ML teams to build LLM-powered conversational AI and automated scribes that are reliable, accurate, and genuinely useful to case managers, paralegals, and lawyers.
  • Define and track success metrics, using both qualitative research and quantitative analysis to continuously improve the product.
  • Collaborate with design, customer success, and go-to-market teams to ensure smooth launches and tight feedback loops post-release.

What we look for:
  • 4 to 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of shipping products for both enterprise and SMB customers that have garnered meaningful adoption.
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered products, with direct working knowledge of agents and LLMs/LMMs. This is a requirement, not a bonus.
  • You love solving intricately complex problems and applying system thinking to craft scalable solutions.
  • Strong user research instincts -- you know how to uncover what users actually need, not just what they ask for.
  • Proven ability to take a product from concept through launch in a cross-functional environment.
  • Clear communicator who can translate between technical complexity and user experience.
  • Comfortable moving fast in a high-growth environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the job.
  • Conviction that agentic technology, when bounded by tight guardrails, can be architected to be the ultimate arbiter around how justice is served when it comes to legal matters.
  • High agency, tenacity, and deep empathy towards your customers. Takes work seriously, but doesn't take themselves too seriously.

Benefits & Perks:
As part of our total rewards package, we offer attractive benefits and perks to our employees, including:
  • Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness.
  • Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.
  • 10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province.
  • A home office stipend.
  • 401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • A local in-person meet-up program.
  • Hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.

(Please note the above benefits & perks are for full-time employees)
Notice to Candidates:
To ensure fairness and proper consideration, we do not accept resumes or expressions of interest via email or social media messages. If you're interested in a role, please submit your application directly through our careers page.
Please note that EvenUp may use AI notetakers and other recording devices in the recruiting process. If you interview with us, with your consent, we may record your conversations and summarize them into notes for internal use. Recording is optional, and declining will not affect your candidacy.
EvenUp is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to diversity and inclusion in our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
