Job description

Job Description: Loader/Off Loader

Work Location: DFC- Mesquite, TX

Hiring Immediately!

Work Location & Shifts: 905 Airport Blvd Suite 100 Mesquite, TX 1st shift

Pay:   The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00 + benefits.  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This information is specific to Mesquite, TX and may not be applicable to other locations.

Overview

Read and Evaluate Tickets to determine the correct material has been kitted/prepped. Load components onto the booth conveyor to be painted based on order requirements. Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials for the paint department. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.

 What will you do:

Inspect the slabs for defects Using Acetone to clean all components prior to being applied

Application of adhesion promoter to Lite Frames prior to being painted

Stage material to be loaded into the spray booth based on complete orders. All being done to exceed ticket/customer expectations

Overall goal is to load material onto the conveyor based on order dates and specs to provided department and offload good quality product on a timely manner to help drive production

  Remove prepped slabs from conveyor to be packaged

Grab slabs from stack and transfer to preparation table Place the prepared slab on the paint carrousel holder

Placed stained slab on table to remove brackets

Ensure the safety of your co-workers by making sure you have their attention before moving the slabs

Always use proper lifting techniques and always wear the appropriate PPE

Stocking finished product

Maintain a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned

 

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of production tickets, nail gun, door sizes, jamb types, tape measure

Ability to read orders for interior and exterior product

Table saw knowledge

Product knowledge is Key, along with full comprehension of specification for all types of products

The ability to objectively evaluate an order and prepare components as required for pre-finishing

Ability to perform a variety of physical task

Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols

Ability to comprehend and carry out oral and written directives

Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision 

Ability to lift to 50+ lbs frequently

Maintain a well-organized work area

Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service.

Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written Qualifications

What you will need

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred not required

Previous work experience in a production environment, preferred

Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
