Job Description:

The Universal Banker plays a vital role in our bank's commitment to providing exceptional customer service, building long-lasting relationships and helping customers achieve their financial goals. The Universal Banker must be able to take care of any customer with any financial need in a professional and knowledgeable manner. They will handle various teller transactions, open customer's deposit accounts and resolve customer service issues in-person, via email or by phone. First Liberty Bank is open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Employees will not be required to work the entire span of these hours but must be available to work any shift within this time frame and occasional overtime when crucial to branch operations.

The Universal Banker is accountable for proactively selling consumer and commercial depository products and services to customers and prospects. They are responsible for opening, closing and performing maintenance on deposit accounts and services - and managing all documentation related to the account or service. They are entrusted with creating a positive experience in our lobby - meeting and greeting each client. Universal Bankers are relied upon to resolve customer service needs effectively while delivering friendly customer service and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. They will participate in banking promotions, events, community outreach and planning of additional marketing projects. Universal Bankers will continue to develop and improve their skills through regular feedback discussions with their manager. This position reports to the Oklahoma City Branch Manager.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by always providing exceptional customer service
  • Seamlessly transition between multiple roles while consistently identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
  • Process teller transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Comply with FLB's established procedures and policies, complete all required training
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the ever-changing banking industry
  • Open, close, and revise deposit accounts for customers using a consultative approach, ensuring tailored financial solutions and exceptional service
  • Grow accounts and customer base through cross-selling, networking and other outside sales activities
  • Thorough understanding of all deposit products and services including promotional products
  • Contribute to branch and bank goals by promoting the bank's products and services
  • Other responsibilities and duties assigned
