We are looking for a Welder to join our Group and play a vital role in ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in our production processes. This position offers opportunities to develop technical skills, grow into advanced levels, and directly contribute to the success of our operations.

What is the role about?

Can you ensure quality and efficiency in every step of the production process? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Fabrication team! We're seeking a motivated individual who can follow processes, maintain high-quality standards, and work collaboratively with a team to drive production success.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Apply methods to ensure actual welds meet both physical strength and aesthetic requirements.

  • Conduct pre and post weld surface preparation; cleaning, brushing, grinding, etc.

  • Ensure proper tool selection and set-up, torch tips, filler rod, amperage, voltage, slope, pulse, etc.

  • Determine the correct equipment and technique to be utilized for each task (Gas, MIG, TIG, etc.).

  • Determine and implement proper physical set-up/alignment; jigs, fixtures, clamps, etc.

  • Perform regular preventative and routine maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks, including test equipment.

  • Inspect and approve welds performed by yourself and others.

  • Perform repairs of weldments.

  • Perform required safety measures necessary to protect both the operators and others.

  • Maintain necessary documentation to support certification requirements.

  • Additional duties may be assigned.
