Job description

We’re hiring a Data Platform Architect to shape target architecture, establish engineering standards, and deliver reusable data products across a large-scale ecosystem.


Role Snapshot

  • Location: Harrisburg, PA
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day/week in-office)
  • Schedule: Standard EST
  • Interview Process: Screening Call ➔ Virtual Panel ➔ Final In-Person

The Core of the Position

Working alongside senior technology leadership, you will design secure multi-tenant cloud environments, standardize DevSecOps & IaC guardrails, and foster an API-first data culture—leading through technical influence across cross-functional teams.
 

Key Requirements

  • 10+ Years building large-scale cloud data platforms
  • 7+ Years in modern data architecture, platform engineering & cloud infrastructure
  • 5+ Years in enterprise security controls (IAM, RBAC, Encryption, Audit)
  • Tech Stack: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Containers
  • IaC & DevSecOps: Hands-on experience with Terraform (or equivalent) & shift-left security
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience

Soft Skills That Matter

  • Ability to start from scratch (greenfield mindset)
  • Pattern-based thinking (reusable platform products over one-off builds)
  • Translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
