Immediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer

Location: Retail Store Champaign, IL

Job Description:

  • Identify shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed-Circuit TV

  • Report writing

  • Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed

  • Provide court room testimony as required

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Full-time/ 40ย hours per week

$22.00 per hour

Health Insurance/401k/Paid Time Off

ย Job Requirement:

  • Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means

  • Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports

  • Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation

  • Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision

  • Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.

  • Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement

  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

  • Criminal Justice or related studies a plus ย 

Must be able to obtain state required PERCย prior toย employment.
