An International company, located in Santa Cruz, CA, is seeking an Executive Assistant for a 12+ month contract role.
The client's Flying Mobility team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Bilingual Executive Assistant to provide primary executive support to the Group Vice President and shared administrative support to additional Flying Mobility leadership team members.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide dependable, proactive, and high-quality administrative support that enables the Flying Mobility leadership team to operate effectively across priorities, meetings, communications, travel, and business activities. Reporting to the Group Vice President, Flying Mobility, the person in this role will support the department"s objective to advance Toyota"s Flying Mobility business priorities through strong coordination, communication, organizational effectiveness, and administrative excellence.
This position supports operations in San Carlos, Santa Cruz and Marina, CA. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of Santa Cruz or one of the other two locations

Relocation assistance isn"t available for this position.
What you"ll be doing
Providing dependable and proactive administrative support, including but not limited to actively staying informed of the department"s needs, projects, issues, meetings, people, correspondence, etc.
Primary executive administrative support to the Group Vice President.
Shared administrative support to members of the Flying Mobility leadership team, including the Vice President, Senior Executive Engineer, General Manager of Business Planning, and General Manager of Administration & Finance.
Scheduling meetings and conferences, including:
Coordination of schedules and logistics
Travel arrangements
Venue selection and negotiation
Material preparation
Communications
Expense reports.
Coping with Japanese and American business protocols.
Requirements:
What you bring
Written and verbal fluency in both English and Japanese.
Executive assistant/administrative assistant experience (experience supporting executives highly preferred).
Knowledge and understanding of characteristics and protocols in Japanese and American business culture.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Slack and Zoom).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
Added bonus if you have
Japanese expatriate support experience.
Pre-1st class or above in Japanese Secretarial Proficiency Test.
Certified Bilingual Secretary (CBS).
Pre-1st class or above in English Proficiency Test (for Japanese Native).
Pre-1st class or above in Japanese Proficiency Test (for English Native).
