Job description

Job Description Diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering/Technology, Water & Wastewater Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Power Engineering. TSSA-recognized Power Engineer Certificate (3rd or 2nd) Class. Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification (Class II-IV) or eligibility to obtain.

Additional training in confined space, WHMIS, and process safety is an asset. 5-10 years experience in industrial wastewater treatment, utilities, or power plant operations. Supervisory/leadership experience in a unionized or industrial environment.

Experience with SCADA/DCS control systems and process optimization. Strong understanding of environmental regulations, boiler safety codes, and reliability practices.
