The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering the world's greatest Italian food and other menu items to our guests in a courteous, safe, and timely manner. The Delivery Driver also assists the store with food presentation, cleaning, and sanitation. Each Delivery Driver must be comfortable working in a team environment where they ensure the needs of our guests are the number one priority so that we may deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Thoroughly understand the layout of the local streets and highways, including the quickest and alternate routes from the store to the final destination.
  • Transports and carries delivery items and objects, including containers, hotboxes, coolers, and trays.
  • Takes the guests order and handles cash and credit transaction.
  • Possesses basic cash handling skills.
  • Enters order accurately into the POS system.
  • Handles guests problems efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items.
  • Suggestively sells additional menu items.
  • Checks food quality to ensure it is fresh and safe to serve.
  • Greets guests when they are entering and leaving to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper setup and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, kitchen, prep areas, and restrooms.
  • Assists with cleaning and maintenance duties as needed.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using hand truck.
  • Accurately processes order paperwork and payment transactions.
  • Delivers local store marketing materials throughout the delivery area to help increase sales.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by a member of the management team.
