For more than 50 years, we have focused on meeting the fundamental needs of individuals and families who have been systemically denied opportunities to realize their full potential. Our programs include affordable housing, education and job training, and comprehensive support services, spanning Cambridge and beyond. Position Summary:

As part of the Learning and Evaluation Team, the Salesforce and Data Systems Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of Just A Start's Salesforce CRM platform. Reporting to the Manager, CRM & Data Systems and Salesforce Initiatives, this role serves as the primary operational point of contact for staff across the organization, ensuring the platform runs smoothly, data quality is maintained, and users are trained and supported. The Coordinator plays a critical role in enabling the Learning and Evaluation team's mission to build a data-driven, learning-oriented culture at Just A Start.

  • Support the Manager in implementing integrations with external data sources and third-party applications (Apsona, Form Assembly, Mogli).
  • Maintain and update documentation of system configurations, standard operating procedures, and user guides.

Data Quality and Reporting

  • Conduct regular data quality audits, including deduplication, standardization, and cleanup, to ensure data integrity across the platform.
  • Monitor data entry practices across programs and flag inconsistencies or gaps to the Manager and relevant program staff.
  • Build and deliver reports and dashboards for program teams, leadership, and other stakeholders in response to data requests.
  • Support the Learning & Evaluation team by preparing data exports and datasets for program evaluations and organizational reporting.

  • Develop and deliver onboarding training for new staff on Salesforce usage, data entry standards, and reporting tools.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including written guides, quick-reference sheets, and video walkthroughs.

  • Gather and relay user feedback to the Manager to inform Salesforce roadmap priorities and system improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS/ KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce administration (preferred), CRM management, or a related data systems role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience developing and delivering user training in a variety of formats.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and/or anticipate organizational needs and to translate those needs into clear reports and dashboards.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to ad hoc requests efficiently.
  • Interest in nonprofit mission-driven work and experience with community-serving organizations preferred.
