We are seeking a Credit Manager to join Zions Bank in Midvale, UT. The Credit Manager plays a key role in managing departmental lending activities, developing strategic policies, and leading teams to resolve complex credit challenges.

Responsibilities:
    Manage the daily activities of the assigned business functional area, providing leadership without requiring considerable direction.
    Determine goals and objectives for the department and provide input into budgets and staffing.
    Develop and implement departmental policies, processes, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
    Develop resolutions to complex lending problems that require the frequent use of creativity and judgment within broadly defined practices.
    Interact with management, personnel, and clients on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines, including customer negotiations.
    Motivate staff and influence other employees or managers using strong interpersonal skills.
    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
    Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field and 4+ years of lending, credit or underwriting practices and techniques, banking or other directly related experience.
    A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
    Managerial experience preferred.
    Requires solid working knowledge of lending and credit theories and concepts and how they related to the banking or financial industry.
    Possess a strong working knowledge of overall lending policies and procedures, credit analysis, underwriting, and structuring.
    Exhibit advanced analytical and problem resolution skills, along with an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in decision making.
    Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, and require an in-depth knowledge of other related fields.

Location: 
Five days a week in-office at our Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT
