Job description

Imagine working at the forefront of innovation in fluid-flow technology, with over 1,400 colleagues across the globe, and contributing to a legacy of excellence that spans eight manufacturing facilities on four continents. Armstrong Fluid Technology is more than just a leader in our industry; we are a community of the brightest and most creative minds, driven by a shared mission to engineer the future and safeguard our planet.

As part of our team, you'll be immersed in an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and collaboration. Here, you'll have the opportunity to push boundaries, tackle exciting challenges, and develop cutting-edge solutions that promote energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Every day offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a more sustainable future, driving innovations that help lower global carbon footprints. Together, we’re creating a legacy that goes beyond business—one that’s changing the world for the better.

The Sales Coordinator supports the North America Regional Sales Enablement Center (RSEC) and Sales teams by managing incoming sales communications, coordinating project documentation, assisting with equipment selection and quotations, and ensuring proper opportunity setup in internal systems.

This role serves as a key coordination point between Sales Representatives, RSEC Engineers, and Customers. It is ideal for an early-career mechanical engineering graduate looking to build a foundation in HVAC technical sales and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Inbox & Coordination

  • Manage the regional Sales Inbox and categorize incoming requests.
  • Allocate quote requests, POs, and shop drawings to the appropriate Sales or RSEC Engineer.
  • Ensure timely assignment and tracking of all requests.

Quote & Equipment Selection

  • Prepare and issue quotations using Armstrong selection tools (e.g., ADEPT) and pricing systems.
  • Perform basic equipment selections based on provided duty conditions.
  • Support pricing alignment, breakout pricing, and alternate options.
  • Track issued quotes and coordinate revisions as project requirements evolve.
  • Ensure quotes are properly linked to CRM opportunities.

Project & Opportunity Management

  • Create and maintain projects and opportunities in ADEPT and CRM.
  • Ensure accurate job naming, tagging, and ownership.
  • Support pipeline visibility and CRM hygiene.

Customer & Internal Liaison

  • Act as a liaison between external customers and internal teams including Operations and After Sales.
  • Coordinate communication regarding order status, documentation requests, and technical clarifications.
  • Ensure customer inquiries are properly directed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support smooth handover from quote stage to order execution.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical DCS in Building Engineering or AEC in Building Engineering (Required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, application engineering support, HVAC systems, or technical customer service is an asset.
  • Exposure to hydronic systems, pumps, or HVAC applications is an asset.
  • Co-op or internship experience in mechanical systems is considered valuable.

Language Requirement

  • Fluent in both French and English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to confidently communicate with customers and internal teams in both languages.

Core Competencies

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable working in CRM systems and quoting platforms.
