S&S Tire of Lexington, KY, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the team. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. If you are a true professional, with superior skills, you need to apply today!


Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks
  • Pulling and loading tires
  • Use of a handheld device to write up inventory
  • Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary

  • Compensation starting at $17.50+ per hour, based on experience
  • Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm

Requirements


  • Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
  • Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
  • Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
  • Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
  • Valid driver's license - in good standing
  • Forklift license is a plus
