Stivers Ford of Birmingham has immediate openings for Mobile Technicians. We provide a fully stocked Mobile Tool truck for outside service calls. No heavy diagnostics, no heavy engine work, no heavy transmission work, etc. We welcome Technicians from other brands and Industries such as: Firestone, Pepboys, Jiffy Lube, etc.
Weekly Salary based on experience up to $1500.00 with a sign on bonus for qualified applicants.

Job Description
  • Perform electrical, mechanical and diagnostic procedures on most vehicle makes and models.
  • Assist service managers and estimators in providing documentation for any mechanical or electronic repairs services needed.
  • Perform bumper to bumper mechanical and electrical repairs in the field.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships through the use of our company Core Values and Brand Promise.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 2 years+ of automotive repair experience.
  • Thorough focus and understanding of inspection-based services and repairs
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of the independent tire and automotive repair market
  • Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and effectively perform maintenance and light repairs
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drugs test, and have valid driver's license
  • Proficient use of a variety of automotive service and diagnostic equipment.
  • Possess and display a strong and healthy work ethic.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Detailed Oriented. Outgoing and social personality a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record.
