Job description

Hearth and Home Technologies (HHT) is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team in Lakeville, MN.  We are the nation’s leading Manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves and accessories. Headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota with distribution around the world, our innovative culture is supported by a business unit structure that allows us to develop and market products with a strong focus on customer’s needs.  Since 1996 we’ve been dedicated to connecting people through the warmth and comfort of our hearth products.   
 
The Senior Pricing Analyst will support Sales by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of company-wide pricing guidelines.  Additionally, the Senior Pricing Analyst will assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.  
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of sales objectives for each market, channel and brand.  
  • Lead execution of pricing within multiple business systems.  
  • Validate pricing and customer data integrity throughout financial systems.  
  • Ensure all pricing changes are completed accurately and timely.  
  • Contribute to pricing accuracy by proactively identifying areas of concern.  
  • Develop processes to identify and capture additional pricing value.  
  • Administer communication of pricing guidelines to HHT business partners.  
  • Work collaboratively in corporate pricing improvement initiatives as needed.  
  • Ensure standard work is continuously updated as business needs change.  
  • Support and guide annual price change implementation.  
  • Assist with internal and external audit testing.  
  • Model and recommend pricing strategy guidelines by channel/brand to support sales and channel partner objectives.  
  • Take steps to ensure the Myhht customer facing pricing tools are relevant and value added for customers.   
  • Provide financial guidance on National Builder and New Business Development supplier agreements and provide financial analysis support on projects as assigned.  
  • Assist in the preparation of standard and ad hoc reports.   
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.  
  • Respond to customer inquiries as needed.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  
 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar.  
  • Resiliency and flexibility with changing workload.
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets.  
  • Experience with Tableau data visualization tools.  
  • Meet deadlines and produce high quality work.  
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
