Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department hires certified Firefighter/Paramedics (FF/PM). Fourth (4th) semester paramedics may apply, however, you must obtain your State of Florida Paramedic certification by July 17, 2026. Candidates that have not yet received their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance may apply, however, you must obtain this certification by August 31, 2026. The following certificates must be uploaded AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. Please make sure you have all of your documentation ready for upload PRIOR to applying. • Valid Driver's License
• One of the following:
  • State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance OR
  • Letter from current school noting you are currently enrolled with a projected graduation date from the program*
• Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
• CPAT (National) OR EPAT OR Certificate of Completion from CSRIPS within the previous 12-months
  • CPAT scores must be valid between the dates of April 30, 2025 - June 24, 2026. If you do not have a CPAT, please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT.   • For candidates that attended CSRIPS and have your certificate of completion, it must have been obtained within the previous 12-months of submitting your application.

Once your application is submitted, you will not be able to add any documents to your application. Applicants who receive their State of Florida Paramedic License after the closing date, MUST submit a copy to asteckler@coralsprings.gov prior to July 17, 2026.
