Job Purpose: To support CZ-USA and Dan Wesson technical needs as they relate to existing and new product documentation and development; cooperation with quality and assembly departments to support the creation of remedial processes; cooperation with sales, marketing, and product teams to provide appropriate technical expertise as needed. Operate manual and CNC prototyping equipment to support current production and new product development needs. Assist in development of product test procedure documentation and carry out product testing as necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Utilize 3D CAD software for the creation and review 3D models and 2D drawings
• Investigate and solve product-related problems.
• Develop test plans, conduct product testing, and create detailed test reports.
• Maintain standards for technical drawings, internal specifications, and related engineering documentation.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor
• Aptitude for detail with the ability to work in a team environment required to Develop, implement and monitor quality assurance standards in cooperation with other departments and personnel.
• Utilizes CAD/CAM for the review, analysis, and production of g-code and m-code for CNC equipped machining equipment
• Support the assembly, quality, and product departments through fabrication of necessary items for the fulfillment of testing, validating, assembling, and inspecting product.
• Support department colleagues as needed
• Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork and records in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing learning through educational opportunities and professional publications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience & Skills
• Proven ability to deliver highly accurate and consistent work.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Knowledge of fixture and tooling selection
• 1-3 years of proven experience setting up and operating 3-axis machining centers
• Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, approachable, motivated, with a strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Effective use of electronic communication tools (email, phone systems, etc.)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
