D2 Government Solutions is seeking a full-time qualified candidate for Military Tactics Training Instructor at our Port Hueneme, CA location.
Responsibilities
  • Provides course of instruction in Small Unit Tactics
  • Provides course of instruction in Small Unit Leadership
  • Provides course of instruction in Self-Mobility Convoy Security
  • Provides course of instruction in Crew Served Weapons
  • Provides course of instruction in Tactical Unit Leadership
  • Provides Field Training Exercise Management
  • Serves as Safety Officer during Live Fire Training Events
  • Guides and mentors’ students during classroom and field-based training events
  • Provides support for various training sites and locations
  • Course curriculum development (applies to all courses)
Qualifications
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Must have instructor certifications or have qualifications in the following: Navy NEC 9502/ Marine/Army/Air Force MOS Instructor certified, Coast Guard Instructor, DOD agency or civilian equivalent
    • Formal Schools Instruction Course or Military Branch of Service Equivalent
    • All Service Branches Drill Instructor Certification or Training Instructor for Air Force
    • Instructor For a Military Occupational Specialty School
    • Non – Military Instructor Certification ie NRA Training Instructor
    • Colligate Instructor Training
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Must be able to travel to various training sites
  • Must be CPR qualified
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS-Word, MS- Outlook. MS- PowerPoint and MS- Excel
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and written
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadline
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Possess the fitness and conditioning to support level of instruction. Capable of performing all training evolutions while wearing required PPE.
  • Pass high risk medical and psychological screening.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
