Fire Sprinkler Foreman
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our Jacksonville branch to work in the surrounding areas. The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for the installation of Fire Sprinklers with the assistance of Apprentices and Fitters on job sites, and is completed on schedule and within budget.
Day to Day:
  • Responsible for completing Installation of Fire Sprinklers accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Responsible for leading their assigned jobs and the supervision of Apprentices and Fitters on job sites.
  • Our Fire Sprinkler Foreman are responsible for developing a strong relationship with the General Contractor to exceed all their expectations and ensure quality, timely installation is achieved.
  • Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
  • Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
  • Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 70 pounds.

What are the Qualifications for this position?
  • 3+ years of previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman
  • Knowledge and experience installing fire sprinklers, reading blueprints, putting systems on test, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator.
  • Must be able to supervise the overall installation process as well as supervision of Fitters and Apprentices
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
  • A company vehicle will be provided for this position requiring a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.
