Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Electrician D in Camden, Arkansas, to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer publications, blueprints, and schematics. The ideal candidate will be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards and capable of troubleshooting, understanding, and maintaining all production and facility equipment. Responsibilities include facility and equipment maintenance, adherence to established work procedures, and performing general maintenance duties.
Essential Functions:
• Provide certified electrical services in support of all Facilities operations.
• Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electrical systems and equipment, including:
 - Electrical distribution systems
 - Switchgear, transformers, panels, breakers, and motor control centers
 - Interior, exterior, and emergency lighting systems
 - UPS systems, generators, and backup power systems
 - HVAC electrical components and controls
 - Networking and communication systems
 - Lightning protection and static grounding
 - Mission-critical and specialized equipment
• Perform production machinery upkeep, repair, and maintenance, including general welding and millwright activities.
• Install new equipment.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as electro-mechanical and mechanical work.
• Maintain general shop cleanliness and organization; provide coaching and guidance to other technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by reviewing building layouts, anticipating challenges, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure proper condition and adequate literature supplies.
• Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment by inspecting for wear and ensuring proper operation.
• Document work by completing job-related paperwork and maintaining files.
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
• Determine required parts for repairs and assess timelines for completion.
• Stay current on manufacturer products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Provide technical support to customers as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of industrial equipment service and installation processes.
• Experience with respirators, breathing-air devices, or fire/rescue team operations.
• Journeyman electrician license strongly preferred. Maintenance certifications or trade school training are a plus.
• Experience or training in Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical systems. A state license in any of these fields is a plus.
