Job description

Fire Protection Services, LLC is seeking a Fire Inspections Apprentice to support fire and life safety inspections across our commercial customer base. This is a developmental, field-based role designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship while working alongside certified Inspectors and Technicians.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support inspections, testing, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and/or PFE & kitchen hood systems under supervision
  • Prepare tools, testing devices, and materials for inspections
  • Assist with documenting inspection results accurately and consistently
  • Learn to identify system deficiencies and assist with troubleshooting as directed
  • Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs
  • Follow safety procedures, company standards, and documentation requirements
  • Interact professionally with customers, site contacts, and internal team members
What We’re Looking For
  • Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn technical systems and follow procedures
  • Interest in fire alarm or fire & life safety systems
  • Ability to complete assignments with increasing independence as skills develop
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred
