We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our fire suppression systems within commercial kitchens. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of fire alarm, sprinkler, backflow, etc.
-Perform repairs on malfunctioning or damaged systems.
-Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
-Ensure all fire suppression equipment meets the required safety standards and operational effectiveness.
-Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of their systems.
-Respond to emergency service calls as required.
-Work collaboratively with the fire protection team to ensure a high standard of service and safety compliance.
Qualifications:
-Experience in fire system inspection, maintenance and repair, specifically with Fire Alarm/Sprinkler/Backflow/Extinguisher/etc.
-Passed Fire Inspection License (CSA) for Colorado Springs/Denver (preferred).
-Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training in fire protection systems is a plus.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
