Job Description
Our Honolulu office is growing and we're looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with ten or more years of experience who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. You will help strengthen our fire protection engineering team and work closely with other internal disciplines to design a variety of local projects.
The ideal candidate will have work history that includes performing consulting services for external and internal clients utilizing fire protection engineering technical skills.
Duties and Skills:
  • Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems, as well as design new fire protection systems including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm and mass notification systems
  • Perform building and fire code analysis and interpretation
  • Manage day-to-day contacts with internal and external clients while utilizing experience and technology to meet expectations
  • Perform research and documenting for internal and external distribution
  • Building and fire code analysis and interpretation
  • Project management skills for managing internal projects as well as external client needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from accredited college or university (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Fire Protection)
  • EIT and P.E. are required
  • Fire Protection License by examination issued by any state in the United States
  • Minimum of 10 years dedicated working experience in the Fire Protection engineering profession , with minimum of 5 years of responsible charge of Fire Protection Life Safety Designs
  • Travel is required (estimated travel time is 35%)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Military Security Clearance

Expected annual salary of $115,000 - $155,000.
