Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer/Associate (Plumbing amp; Fire Protection Focus)

Reports To: Team Leader of Mechanical Engineering Department
I. Summary
Lead Mechanical Engineers and Associates are responsible for the development of air distribution systems, single line control diagrams, load studies and analysis as well as equipment selection. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, conducting and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective fashion.
An Engineer is a licensed professional who has obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification, demonstrating advanced competency and legal authority to practice engineering. An Associate is an individual who has earned an accredited bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering but has not yet achieved PE licensure. Associates may also have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination as part of their progression toward professional licensure.
II. Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities

IV. Qualifications
Education
Bachelorโ€™s Degree (B.S) from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.
Professional Engineering license preferred.
LEED AP is preferred
Experience
5+ years working in an MEP engineering consulting firm on multiple building types.
Experience in healthcare preferred
