We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire Equipment Sales Manager to oversee our operations in Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will manage the sales process for a range of fire equipment and apparatus, identifying opportunities to expand our market presence
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Identify and establish relationships with potential clients within the fire service industry.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of fire equipment and apparatus to fire departments and emergency services.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients, understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and terms.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales records and reports.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Dinges Fire Company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of sold products.
  • The position requires being on the road within the State weekly. Plus, several times a year, attend meetings at the Amboy home office and numerous Fire Shows as needed. Travel within your assigned State, working with our Sales Team and Fire Departments in all aspects of our growing company is one of the most important tasks with this position.
  • The State Manager must be adept at growing business without daily in-person management. The position requires home office space.

Qualifications:
  • Must have firefighter background and understand all aspects of fire department and EMS needs.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on fire equipment or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of fire apparatus and emergency equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
