The role centers on engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry, with a particular focus on strong plumbing design experience.
You will work closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients, work within project budgets, and train, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. For EG05, that work is grounded in education and government and municipal projects across North Carolina, while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.

  • Provide in-process design reviews of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection system designs, calculations, and specifications, and implement IMEG quality control processes to meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
