Fox Security combines its knowledge of technology with expert installation and personal customer service. Locally owned and operated for nearly 31 years, Fox Security installs and services low voltage systems, including Security and Fire Alarm Systems with 24 Hour U.L. Central Station Monitoring, Access Control Systems, and Camera Surveillance Systems.
Job Summary
Perform low voltage services for installing, repairing, and replacing residential and commercial security/fire alarm systems and any related equipment. Provide documentation of activities, and sustain necessary tools and materials.
All work is performed independently and efficiently under the general supervision of the operations manager. All work is performed in compliance with all local, city, county, state, and company codes and standards. All completed work is assessed for code compliance, safety, timeliness, and completeness.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect low voltage, security, and fire alarm systems and their components to evaluate their condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance
  • Install new security and fire systems
  • Maintain assigned vehicles, equipment, and supplies to ensure availability of materials required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as assigned, to convey and/or gather information required to perform job functions
  • Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all times
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Security Technician/Low Voltage experience
  • Experience and ability to perform low voltage services for installing, repairing, and replacing security and fire alarm systems and any related equipment. Provide documentation of activities, and sustain necessary tools and materials
  • Ability and willingness to work with a wide diversity of individuals; work with similar types of data; and utilize a variety of types of job-related equipment
  • Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others
  • Must possess such licenses as are required by state, city, and local code
  • Must be able to provide DMV print out
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and listening skills
