What you'll do

  • Prospect and qualify new opportunities across target verticals through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold outreach, warm introductions, trade shows, and in-person networking
  • Build and manage a $1M-$3M qualified pipeline, targeting an annual closed quota of $250K-$500K
  • Earn a pipeline bonus for each qualified opportunity that advances into a formal sales process requiring senior leadership engagement
  • Discovery & Relationship Management
  • Conduct initial discovery calls independently, identifying business pain, technical context, and buying signals
  • Present rinf.tech capabilities and service offerings to prospects without supervision
  • Develop and maintain relationships across a broad range of industries - Automotive, Industrial/IoT, Semiconductor, Fintech, Retail, Technology, and beyond
  • Follow up persistently and professionally with all stakeholders met through events, introductions, or outreach - especially those without an immediate project start
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Pipedrive - logging all activity, contacts, and pipeline movement in real time
  • Identify and keep the calendar packed with relevant events, primarily in Michigan with some flagship events on the west coast.
  • Attend all events, trade shows, and customer meetings alongside the Americas President
  • Write your own outbound messaging, tailored to each prospect and vertical
  • Participate in daily standups and weekly pipeline reviews with the Americas President

What you need to be successful

  • 1-3 years of B2B sales, outbound marketing, lead generation, or business development experience. Preference given to experience in a services environment (engineering services, professional services, consulting, IT services, or similar)
  • Demonstrable track record of self-sourced pipeline generation
  • Experience with outbound prospecting tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM platforms
  • Relationship-first mindset - you build trust before you build pipeline
  • Organized and process-oriented - you log what you do, follow up when you say you will, and never let a contact go cold
  • High initiative - you don't need to be managed; you need to be pointed in the right direction
  • Clear and professional communicator - written and verbal
  • Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences independently
  • Understands what professional services are and how clients buy them
  • Must be based in the Detroit metropolitan area - this is a hard requirement
  • In-office presence 3-5 days per week alongside the Americas President
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required by the pipeline
  • Bachelor's degree - Sciences background are valuable, but graduates with English Literature or the like are also well positioned for this role

  • Background in a services firm is strongly preferred
