Account Manager - REV Prepaid

Toronto, ON โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Posted 16 days ago

Key responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships end to end, including running reviews, understanding their numbers, and growing the program.

  • Run weekly load and funding cycles, reconcile files, request funding, and ensure programs are funded, active, and accurate.

  • Work the support queue daily to resolve cardholder and client issues and manage disputes in collaboration with compliance.

Job description

About REV Prepaid

REV Prepaid is a Toronto-based B2B prepaid Mastercard program manager. We design and run branded prepaid card and payout programs for businesses that move money to their people at scale: payroll alternatives, gig and contractor payouts, incentives, and disbursements. We are registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business and with the Bank of Canada as a Payment Service Provider, and we operate through a regulated sponsor bank, a card processor, and an Interac e-Transfer partner.

Two years ago this business was near dead. We rebuilt it from the studs and load volume has been climbing ever since. We are small, we are fast, and every seat here carries real weight.

The Role

This is a hands-on account management role. You keep our live client programs running clean and you grow them where the growth is real. Cards get loaded on time, clients get answers fast, disputes get handled, and orders go out the door correct. It is part relationship, part operations, and all ownership.

Some weeks you are the calm voice a client trusts. Other weeks you are heads down in a load file making sure a payroll hits. If that mix sounds good to you, keep reading. If you only want to sell and hand the messy part to someone else, this is the wrong seat.

The Work

  • Client growth and account management (about 30%). Own the relationship end to end. Be the person clients want to pick up the phone for. Run reviews, know their numbers, and grow the program where the opportunity is real.
  • Loads, funding and program operations (about 30%). Run the weekly load and funding cycle. Reconcile files, request funding, process loads, and keep every program funded, active, and accurate.
  • Cardholder support and dispute management (about 25%). Work the support queue daily. Resolve cardholder and client issues quickly and manage disputes shoulder to shoulder with compliance.
  • Card fulfillment and onboarding (about 15%). Manage card orders, replacements, and shipments, and help bring new programs live.

What You Bring

  • Operational rigor. You are accurate, organized, and you do not drop the ball. In this job a missed detail is someone's missing pay.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of B2B in Fintech, SaaS or Prepaid
  • Payments experience, preferred. Time in prepaid, card issuing, program management, or fintech payouts is a real head start and moves you up the pile.
  • Real presence. You hold a room and you hold a hard conversation. Clear, confident, quick, and human.
  • Fintech fluency. Program managers, sponsor banks, processors, settlement, KYB, AML, and load flows. No translation required.
  • A growth instinct. You spot the upsell, the new program, and the referral when it is really there.
  • Self-starter energy. You do the work, own the outcome, and do not wait to be told twice. Small team, big ownership, from day one.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with gig-economy, contractor, or payroll-adjacent payout programs.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian regulatory landscape (FINTRAC, RPAA) and Interac e-Transfer.
  • A little black book across the Canadian or North American prepaid and fintech scene.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
