Their goal is to support promising fintech ventures and achieve returns through equity, debt, or other financial instruments. Fintech investors often offer not just funding but also industry expertise, networking opportunities, and strategic guidance to help these companies succeed.

YOUR IMPACT

We're looking for a professional to join our FinTech team who wants to be a part of our Investment Banking Division and use their skills and ideas to make an impact to the success of the business at Goldman Sachs.

OUR IMPACT

Investment Banking Division

Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, financial sponsors, and venture capital firms and are a team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

The FinTech investment banking group provides clients with advice, access to financing, and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance, risk management/hedging and co-investing. Given the dynamic and relevant nature of FinTech as an industry, our group offers an exciting and fast-paced environment with tremendous opportunity to contribute and grow.

They will gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.

Associates develop financial models, perform customized company valuation analysis, and are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. They organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, assess clients' situations to provide the necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Additionally, Associates coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; lead due diligence processes and actively participate in the negotiations of legal documentation. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Associates are a vital part of Goldman Sachs' banking team's investments.
