Job description

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Product Designer - Fintech - this is a hybrid role in Jersey City. Salary range: 110-150K USD base plus benefits.

Our mission is to transform how money moves. We believe stablecoins will underpin a new financial fabric, one that is faster, more global, and more efficient than today's siloed systems. That is why we are building AUSD and the stack, a full-service platform that makes issuing, managing, and integrating stablecoins seamless, whether you're a developer, fintech, or institution. With AUSD, stablecoins become programmable, composable, and ubiquitous by default.

We believe digital dollars should be a public good: trusted, accessible, and built for real-world utility. Our mission is to drive adoption through customizable, user-friendly on-ramps that make stable, dollar-based value available onchain.

We're backed by world-class investors including Paradigm and Dragonfly, and we're growing a team to reimagine how value moves online.

We're intentional about who we bring on. If you're passionate about stablecoins and want to help create more open, intuitive ways for people to engage with money, let's talk.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We bring the discipline of high-performance finance teams and the creativity of a fast-moving crypto-native startup. We're a small, mission-driven group of builders who move fast, sweat the details, and hold a high bar for excellence, in product, code, and culture.

You'll be joining a tight-knit team that values clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision making. We operate in short feedback loops, support one another without ego, and are deeply motivated by the opportunity to build foundational infrastructure for the future of money.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll partner with our lead designer on a small team that owns both product and brand surfaces.

You'll own what customers touch: dashboards, onboarding flows, account management, developer surfaces. End-to-end, from problem framing and research through wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity design, and handoff. You stay close through implementation so what ships matches the intent.

Beyond product, you'll shape how we show up in the world: landing pages, campaign assets, sales decks, brand work. We hire designers who want this surface area, not just tolerate it.

Day to day, you'll partner with PMs, engineers, and the founders to scope features, define success, and iterate on what customers do with the product. You'll help evolve the design system that keeps us coherent as we scale.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years designing products at a software company. Portfolio shows end-to-end ownership of complex flows, not just polished screens.

  • B2B, fintech, or another regulated or data-dense domain (infra, devtools, healthcare).

  • Strong information design instincts. You make dense, technical interfaces feel obvious.

  • Range across surfaces. You move from technical product UI to expressive brand and marketing without dropping craft on either side.

  • Fluent in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping) and comfortable contributing to and extending a design system.

  • AI tools are in your workflow, not a novelty. Claude, Figma AI, whatever it is, used for copy, layout exploration, faster prototyping, research synthesis.

  • Track record of shipping with engineers, reviewing builds, iterating post-launch on real usage.

  • Comfortable running your own research: recruiting, moderating, synthesizing, turning findings into design changes.

  • You treat copy as part of the design surface, not a handoff.

  • Low ego, high iteration speed. You hold a point of view, defend it where it matters, change your mind when the evidence says to.
