Advertised Job Summary
As the department is continuing to grow its enrollment numbers, The Department of Mathematics is seeking two (2) full-time, professional-track Instructors. The position is an 11-month appointment with a teaching load of 8 courses for the academic year.
The candidate will be expected to teach the department's introductory courses. A successful candidate will teach coordinated undergraduate courses including, but not limited to, college algebra, finite and discrete mathematics, precalculus, applied calculus, calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra.
Required Education and Experience
  • Requires a master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching.
  • ย Experience in teaching one or more of the following: college algebra, finite and discrete mathematics, precalculus, applied calculus, calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra.
