Position Description
Position Summary:
Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. This role is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work on commercial construction projects. This role focuses on detailed finish work while also supporting general carpentry and site needs as required to meet project demands.

Position Requirements
Essential Functions:
    • Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures
    • Install doors, frames, windows, trim, cabinetry, hardware, fixtures, and specialty finishes
    • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
    • Install suspended ceilings, wall panels, and other interior finish systems
    • Construct and modify frameworks as needed
    • Assist with formwork and other carpentry-related tasks when required
    • Maintain knowledge of OSHA regulations and adhere to all Eby safety policies
    • Support general labor activities as needed to meet project schedules
    • Maintain a clean and organized job site

Requirements:
    • 3+ years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; commercial experience a plus)
    • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
    • Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools
    • High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift materials as required

Working Conditions:
    • Frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and overhead work
    • Constant reaching, gripping, lifting, and use of hand tools
    • Frequent use of vibratory tools
    • Frequent work at heights
    • Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions
