Job Summary:
Upson Regional Medical Center is a small hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare with modern technology. They are seeking a versatile Onsite Mid-Level Systems Administrator to manage their Windows Server infrastructure and serve as the primary technical lead for SQL Server database administration, ensuring the stability, security, and integrity of critical clinical and business data.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Windows Server infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for SQL Server database administration.
• Manage Active Directory policies and troubleshoot database issues.
• Ensure the stability, security, and integrity of critical clinical and business data.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• 4-7 years of total IT experience.
• 3+ years managing Windows Server environments (AD, GPO, Patching).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016+), including maintenance plans, security, and basic performance tuning.
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with SSIS/SSRS administration.
• Experience working in a Healthcare IT environment (MEDITECH or other EMR exposure).
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (or legacy MCSA: SQL Database Administration).
