Job description

Job Summary:

Sales Associates sell New and Used vehicles, while maintaining acceptable standards of guest satisfaction, sales volume, and gross profit. Sales Associates are responsible for supporting the company's Vision: "Best place to work & Best place for our guests to do business" and Mission: "Build long term relationships with our associates & guests & make a positive difference in our community".

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed the dealership's monthly minimum standard for sales volume.
  • Greet and assist every guest or find someone who can.
  • Assist guests and ask about their wants and needs in selecting the best vehicle for them.
  • Describe each vehicle's features, value, and performance, including available options.
  • Offer test drives to every guest and follow dealership protocol regarding proper identification, etc. in advance of test drive.
  • Properly complete vehicle transactions and process associated documents according to dealership guidelines.
  • Do a quality delivery of every vehicle to reinforce guest's purchase decision and satisfaction.
  • Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all guest's expectations are met.
  • Build repeat and referral business by following up with every guest to ensure their needs have been met.
  • Stay up to date on all manufacturer's products and sales training requirements.
  • Attending all sales and training meetings as scheduled by management.
  • Work with management to create reasonable sales performance goals with monthly income targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Handle guest concerns/complaints and resolve as necessary while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and clean traffic abstract

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
