Purpose and Objective: 

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location to work with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers and Quality Engineers in an agile scrum environment to accelerate innovations for Supply Chain Collaboration and expand the SAP Business Network.

Expectations and Tasks:

Work on complex business problems. Work with SAP Business Network Cloud technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP BTP, SAPHANA, etc. Deliver interactive features with an outside-in approach. Internalize business requirements and solve them with beautifully engineered solutions. Take initiatives and drive topics to resolution. Build and deliver Supply Chain Collaboration features using Agile and Scrum development methodologies. Participate in each stage of the Software Development Lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, test, deploy and maintain) and take full ownership and responsibility of work. Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members in different time zones. Participate/Perform requirement reviews, design reviews, peer code-reviews, etc. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues on demand.  

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:

• Java;
• Java Script;
• HTML CSS;
• Angular; and
• SQL.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $147,002 - $206,460. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $147,002 - $229,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
