Job description

Brandermill Woods Homecare is seeking compassionate, attentive and trustworthy employees who have caregiving experience (PCA certificate or CNA license required) and day-time availability. Please join our mission in providing extraordinary in-home care to seniors.  We have a trusted name in our community and have a passion for helping seniors age in place. We want our caregivers to know that they are a valuable part of our team, and we are here to support them throughout their caregiving journey! Our goal is to help our clients thrive at home, wherever they call home.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $ 19.50 **Starting pay is determined based on relevant years of experience, qualifications, skills and certifications.

Qualities of a Caregiver

  • Must have PCA or CNA License
  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance coverage
  • Have a professional and friendly attitude

Core Job Duties

  • Build rapport with clients, engaging in conversation and providing companionship
  • Assist clients with their prescribed health plan
  • Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care needs
  • Monitor and report changes in physical and mental health behavior
  • Ensure the client’s home is organized and safety measures are in place
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement
  • Assist with mobility needs
  • Provide client with transportation
