Job description

Are you driven by teamwork and attention to detail? As an Air Operations Support Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), you’ll support critical maintenance and servicing to help keep aircraft mission-ready.

This position is available full-time or part-time.

Air Operations Support Technicians (AOS Tech) provide support in the areas of:

This position is similar to the following:

  • Airport Services

To be eligible to apply to the CAF, you must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada;
  • Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent), except:
    • For the Paid Education programs, you may be 16 years old (with parental consent);
    • For the Primary Reserve, you may be 16 years old (with parental consent) and must be enrolled as a full-time student;
  • Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Québec (some jobs need higher levels of education).

Required Education

The minimum required education to apply for this occupation is the completion of the provincial requirements for Grade 10 or Secondary 4 in Quebec.

Foreign education may be accepted.
