Financial Professional � Registered Representative
Location: Greater Warwick, RI Area
About Voya Financial Advisors�
Voya Financial Advisors�, Inc., a leading independent broker-dealer in the defined contribution and defined benefit business, is seeking a Financial Professional to join our highly successful team in the greater Warwick, RI area. This role will focus on working with our retirement planning participant relationships for the Plan Sponsor clients that Voya has in Rhode Island. This individual will be heavily involved in all facets of plan sponsor business and providing participant/client sales support in a Registered Representative capacity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Registered Representative, delivering participant and client sales support for the Warwick, RI Field Office.
  • Service 403(b)/457(b) Plan Participants.
  • Prospect, schedule, and conduct one-on-one appointments to recommend and implement investment strategies.
  • Research and resolve client service issues and investment-related questions.

Qualifications
  • Registered Representative experience with defined contribution plans (403(b), 457, and 401(a) preferred).
  • Securities registrations: Minimum Series 6/63 and Rhode Island Life & Health license.
  • Strong desire to help clients meet their financial and retirement goals while striving to assist the Voya Warwick, RI Field Office be one of the strongest in the financial services industry.

Skills & Competencies
  • Deep understanding of the defined contribution marketplace (403(b), 457, and 401(a)).
  • Knowledge of plan rules/regulations: contribution limits, loans, withdrawals, vesting, and plan documents.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Fund knowledge and product/pricing familiarity.
