Now Hiring: Go Kart Marshalls
Location: Apex Entertainment, Marlborough, Ma


Apex Entertainment is looking for energetic, safety-focused, and guest-driven individuals to join our team as Go-Kart Marshalls. In this role, you'll help create an unforgettable experience for our guests by maintaining a safe racing environment and delivering top-tier customer service.


Responsibilities

Guest Safety & Experience

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the course and all safety requirements.

  • Greet guests professionally and ensure they are properly harnessed, wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, and fully understand all course rules.

  • Clearly explain ride elements, supervise participation, and provide encouragement as needed.

  • Ensure the appropriate number of guests are on the course at one time and verify children meet all height and age requirements.

  • Assist guests entering and exiting the attraction safely.

Course & Equipment Oversight

  • Inspect all harnesses, safety restraints, and equipment prior to each ride session.

  • Monitor equipment for wear and tear and report any concerns.

  • Abide by all safety requirements and properly use all equipment and materials as trained.

  • Control racing events from the central control station, including the operation of computer systems.

  • Enforce all ride rules and regulations before, during, and after operation.

  • Stop vehicles and de-board passengers during emergencies and shut down the race if major repairs are needed.

  • Keep the attraction area clean and free of debris.

Track Communication & Control

  • Oversee a defined portion of the track and communicate with drivers using established signals such as flags and signs.

  • Ensure drivers safely enter and exit karts and provide assistance during lapping sessions.

Additional Duties

  • Demonstrate exceptional guest service aligned with the company's core values.

  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.


Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive, outgoing, "can-do" attitude.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing needs.

  • Able to stand for 4-10 hours at a time.
