ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Surgical Oncology Department in our Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE.

This role is wellsuited for an MA who is organized, adaptable, and trusted to work independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with providers and team members to deliver highquality, compassionate care.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.

Position Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.

  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

  • Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years' is preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.84 - $29.76This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
