Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Wellesley, MA: Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector; Programming in Java, Python, or R; SAS or SQL programming languages; Spark and PySpark; Designing data architectures, including data pipelines, distributed computing engines, and machine learning infrastructure design; Writing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; and Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Addendum to F.b.4.b.: Any related occupation, such as Software Developer, Computer Programmers, Computer Systems Analysts, Computer Systems Engineers/Architects, and/or Programmer Analysts Pay Range: $131082.00/year to $173040.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
